David Cameron is not an MP and so the only way he can assume an office of state is if he is sitting in the House of Commons or in the House of Lords, he actually turned down a peerage when he left office in 2016, but now he is Lord and can 'sit' as a member of the House of Lords, the last one who did this was Lord Carrington who was Foreign Secretary in Margaret Thatcher's government.

Nigel Farage is in Australia, but he is not yet in the jungle, because he is presenting a 'Special' at 7.00pm UK time tonight, so don't miss it, same goes from yoo Whupsy, and Handsome miner, don't miss our Nigel transmitting from Australia on what he thinks about Suella's sacking, and the return of David Cameron.

Peter Mandelson and Andrew Adonis, Mr. HS2, were in the cabinet and members of the House of Lords during Tony Blair’s last year in office.

I bet Labour are pi55ed off.

Until today, it looked as though they would have 'appeal to the centre' all to themselves, with Tories only bothering to pitch to a smaller sector of the electorate.

Seeing how many Labour MP's were missing at the state opening of parliament, it hardly give Joe Public any confidence that a change of government will improve things if they cannot be bothered to turn up at their place of employment!

Or if they were there, in the Commons Bar?

In 1997 the number of MPs standing down was 117. In 2010 the number of MPs standing down was 149.
During an average election year the number of MPs standing down approaches 100.

It was not a matter of any (Labour) MPs not attending jug ears letter to parliament mainly because the inane place were it's held does not have enough room for those bleeding lords etc almost 900 of um then you have over 600 MP,s trying to get in a place that only holds some 4/500 if i were there i too would try to get into somewhere so unfit ,then again who in their right mind wants to listen to all that crap which drivelled out by owd jugs ears !!!!!
